Washington County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or pull an official booking record. Direct those requests to the government office that maintains the record.

Official routes for records and custody

For current Washington County Jail matters, begin with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

Washington County Sheriff’s Office
1206 Old Independence Rd.
Brenham, TX 77833
Main: 979-277-6251
General email: sheriff@washingtoncosheriff.org
Dispatch and non-emergency: 979-277-7373

The reviewed county materials do not identify separate sheriff records-unit hours, a booking-photo fee, or a dedicated booking-records phone number. Use the county’s official public-information request form and identify the Sheriff’s Office as the likely custodian when requesting a historical booking record or a releasable photograph.

  • For a person who may be currently held, use the official Washington County Jail roster. It covers current custody, not a complete historical arrest record.
  • For a past county booking record or photograph, use the Washington County Texas Public Information Act request form. Ask for a fee estimate before authorizing charges because no sheriff-specific photo fee or turnaround was published.
  • For the full local search sequence, including a person no longer on the roster, see the Washington County records guide.
  • For criminal district-court filings and later dispositions, contact District Clerk Carli Koehne at 100 E. Main, Suite 304, Brenham, TX 77833, 979-277-6231. Posted hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The county links case searching through iDocket.
  • For sentenced Texas state custody, use the TDCJ offender search. It is not a public photo search and does not show ordinary Washington County pretrial bookings.
  • For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP inmate locator. For current immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither is a Washington County Jail mugshot service.
  • For an emergency, call 911. Questions about a possible warrant should be directed to the Sheriff’s Office, Dispatch, a court, or an attorney rather than a third-party list.
